Choose Your Learning Track

VNIT allows flexible learning. Choose your learning track as per your convenience. Either enroll for the MTech program for 2 years, or PG Diploma which can be completed over 12 to 18 months.
VNIT also allows for credit transfers. If you completed PG Diploma from VNIT and accrued 40 credits, you can then complete the MTech project thesis, receive 12 more credits, and get an MTech degree also.

Designing of a high performance electric 2W / 3W / 4W. Perform battery sizing, motor selection & recommend a suitable charger
Determine the suitability of a 72V, 15kW motor for a 4-wheeler with GVW of 1100kgs. Design battery pack to meet the range of 120kms on a single charge.
Determine range, charging requirements, and other performance characteristics for a 7-ton e-Truck for long haul transport application
Develop / choose a duty cycle and fix the performance target for a 4-seater e-auto. Size the battery pack. Estimate the charging times needed to charge the selected battery using household charger / Level-1 1-Φ AC charger.
